While travel insurance is not a requirement for our tours, we strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance cover before your trip to Ireland.

Wearing of face masks on Vagabond and Driftwood tour vehicles is not required.

While it is not necessary to wear a mask on a Vagabond or Driftwod tour vehicle, you are welcome to do so, especially if you have symptoms of any respiratory illness such as a cold, flu, or COVID-19, or any contractible gastric illness.

Social distancing requirements have now ended in Ireland.

There's no need to socially distance in Irish retail stores and restaurants.

Of course, you are welcome to take as many precautions to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

🚭 Smoking Ban In Ireland

Smoking is banned in all enclosed public places in Ireland and in all workplaces.

Smoking is also not permitted inside your hotel. However, all hotels will provide outdoor smoking areas.

The ban on smoking in Ireland includes company vehicles (cars and vans) as well as offices, pubs/bars and restaurants.

If you test positive for COVID-19 on tour, you will need to comply with Irish healthcare guidelines and leave the tour to self isolate for 5 days.
