I-STARS has launched the Open Call for Grants for Tourism Businesses addressed to tourism businesses operating in Cyprus, Greece, Ireland, Italy and Spain. Tourism businesses can apply for a grant of up to €5,600 under the I-STARS programme.

I-STARS is all about helping tourism enterprises that are based on islands, just like Ireland.
The aim of I-STARS is to help tourism businesses based on islands to move further in their sustainability journey.
To this end, we are working alongside similar tourism SMEs based on offshore islands in Greece, Italy and Spain. Our collective development will be boosted with sustainable innovations.
This will be achieved through a tailored capacity- building programme as well as through a subgrant scheme.
