What Do I Need To Do Before Returning To Australia?

All passengers arriving by air into Australia should complete the Digital Passenger Declaration

A DPD can be started seven days before your flight and submitted within 72 hours before your departure for Australia. This is because you must provide your health information and declaration (vaccination status and COVID-19 test result) within 72 hours before your flight.

If you're returning to Australia from Ireland, you must either provide proof of a negative Antigen Test completed under the supervision of an authorised person within 24 hours of boarding your flight or a COVID-19 RT-PCR test result taken within 72 hours of the scheduled departure time of your flight.

For more information on requirements before returning to Australia, please visit the Australian Government Department of Home Affairs website.
