For a great mix of mild weather, long days and fewer crowds, visit Ireland in May, early June or September.
May is especially popular. The countryside is green, the days are getting longer, and major sights are usually quieter than during the busy July and August season.
September is another excellent choice, with comfortable temperatures, fewer visitors and plenty of daylight for exploring.
