Referral Programme FAQs

The Vagabond Guest Referral Programme is designed to thank our guests for sharing their love of Ireland and encouraging new guests to join our small-group adventures.

The programme is open to all individuals who have previously completed a minimum of one Vagabond or Driftwood tour(s).

The referral programme is not open to travel agents or current or former employees of either Vagabond Tours Ltd or Human Nature Business.

For the lead guest on any confirmed, referred booking, Vagabond will reward the referrer with €150 in Gift Card value towards future Vagabond or Driftwood tours.

Every guest who has completed a Vagabond or Driftwood tour will have the opportunity to sign up to the Referral programme. Joining is entirely optional. 

There is no upper limit to the number of referrals the referrer can make.

A successful referral is defined as a someone who has become a referee, who hasn’t travelled with Vagabond or Driftwood previously and books and departs on a Vagabond or Driftwood Tour.

Repeat guests (people on their 2nd, 3rd or more tours) are not eligible to become referees.

Enquiries and expired provisional bookings don’t count as referrals.

Referred guests who cancel before their departure date will not result in a payment.

Retroactive claims (i.e. referrals added after booking) are not permitted. Referees must sign up before making a booking.

A referral reward will be paid when a referee who has made a confirmed booking departs on tour.

Referral rewards will be confirmed on the departure date of the referred guest’s tour. Vagabond endeavours to add the reward to the referrer’s account within 14 days of this date.

The referrer will be notified of each referee via email at the time they sign up.

The referrer can check the total number of successful referrals at any time via a link in notification emails.
