We understand that — sometimes — travel plans change.

That's why we've made our cancellation policy fully transparent and fair.

Booking a small-group tour of Ireland with Vagabond is easy.

We accept major credit cards or you can pay by bank transfer.

We require a flat-rate deposit of €250 per person of the tour price to secure your booking.

You can choose to pay off your balance in bitesize chunks.

The remaining balance is due 60 days before departure.

If there is less than 60 days until departure when you book, full payment is required.

Travel early or late in the season to enjoy 10% discount off our peak season prices.

All Spring (March & April) and October departures include this discount.

Peak season prices apply to departures from May to September, inclusive.

Why Guarantee Departures?

We are aware that you have probably gone to great lengths to get to Ireland; organising time off work; buying flights; booking hotels.

So we always run tours once at least two guests have booked.

We do charge a single supplement to solo travellers.

Our single supplement prices for 2024 range from €215 to €730 depending on the duration of the tour.

It's easy to book your Vagabond or Driftwood Tour.

A flat-rate deposit of €250 per person secures any tour.

All Vagabond and Driftwood customer correspondence is carried out by email.

This includes your booking confirmation and other important pre-departure information.

Don't worry! There's no need to print your booking confirmation or voucher.

Simply bring the digital copy of your voucher with you on a smartphone or other device when you travel to Ireland.

Show this to your VagaGuide tour guide on the morning of Day 1 to confirm your place on the tour.

When you pay for your tour, the advertised payment amount can sometimes be different to the one showing by your bank or to a rate advertised elsewhere online.

Because our company is located in Ireland, the prices for Vagabond & Driftwood Tours are set in euros. If your bank is not in the eurozone, the amount you pay for our tours will be affected by currency exchange rates (which change constantly).

It's not always possible to avoid bank, credit card and/or currency exchange fees when paying for our tours.

Almost all forms of foreign payment involve a fee of some kind or another. If a bank does not charge a fee for sending payment, we suggest you double check the exchange rate they are offering against other institutions.
