Everything about this trip was top notch. Tourism in the USA can learn alot from their counterparts in Ireland. The total experience was great and coming from an older guy used to the "way it it used to be." I honestly cannot say enough about how great this trip was. Our tour guide was beyond amazing and I wish he was not retiring from working for you guys. What a great guy that went the extra 1000 miles for all of us on the trip.
Product : Very well planned out and executed!!! Great places to stay great recommendations you name it!

"IMMERSE YOURSELF IN IRELAND"

Group sea kayaking on a 7 day Northern Ireland adventure tour

Vagabond is the best way to tour Ireland! I keep coming back because it's a guaranteed good time 🙂

Every day is filled with fun outdoor activities, beautiful beaches and gardens, sweet adorable animals, fascinating culture and history, delicious farm-to-table food, Irish trad music, clean and comfortable hotels.

Highlights for me were hiking the Antrim Coast, exploring the stone ringfort, Grianan of Aileach, and Titanic Belfast.

Our group of Americans, British and Canadian (me) quickly bonded over shared interests and we had a great camaraderie.

"AMAZING ITINERARY"

Two guests hiking on a 7 day Northern Ireland tour

This company does a great job...

Fun and knowledgeable staff, small group sizes, itineraries that aren't possible on a large coach bus, and busy, but not too busy, off-the-beaten path experiences.

Both our guides were gifted at "reading the room" and tailoring the days to our group (and the weather).

I highly recommend Vagabond!

"I'LL RETURN FOR TOUR #3"

Group cycling on a 7 day Northern Ireland adventure tour

It's hard to say what my favorite part of the tour was...

Every day was fantastic and a new adventure!

If you’re looking for a small-group tour that’s adventurous, takes you to places no other tour company does, want to have a ton of fun and learn the history and wonderful fables of Ireland, then I can’t recommend Vagabond highly enough.

I will surely return for tour #3.

Accommodation

A hot shower after a mountain hike. A real fire. A pint. We assure you that wherever you stay with us, you’ll love it.

We put great effort into selecting accommodation on Vagabond tours. Your tour will overnight in locally-owned establishments (in some cases for generations). Receive a heartfelt welcome, often from the hoteliers themselves. No hotel chains here!

Border between sections

Londonderry Arms Hotel

A warm welcome awaits you at the Londonderry Arms Hotel, once owned by none other than Winston Churchill.

Ideally situated midway between Belfast and the Giant’s Causeway, the Londonderry Arms is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful region.

Sit back and relax in front of an open log fire, bask in breathtaking scenery and a unique atmosphere of warmth and comfort.

Bishops Gate Hotel

Originally built in 1899, Bishop's Gate occupies an historic building in the centre of Derry/Londonderry.

Our lucky Vagabond and Driftwood guests who stay here tend to love the blend of stunning Edwardian architecture with stylish rooms.

Historical Derry/Londonderry is a fully walled city in Northern Ireland.

It is famous for its intact walls, featuring 7 gates; hence the name Bishop's Gate!

If you’re a beach lover, you’re in for a treat at Arnolds Hotel.

Here on Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way, you can do as little — or as much — as you like.

Curl up by an open fire, then relax with a drink in the hotel bar.

Alternatively enjoy the many craft shops, bars, cafes and watersport opportunities on your doorstep..
